Installation, subsequent use and removal
When you install In-car Active for
the first time it will ask for a location on your hard drive
to install certain components and files. This is a partial-install
designed to improve the perfomance of running multiple QuickTime
video clips at the same time. 512Mb available hard disk space
is required for set-up - if you need to free this space when
not using the programme then you can use the In-car Active
uninstaller provided on your start menu at any time. If you
opt to do this, you will need to reinstall the files from
the DVD-ROM the next time you wish to use In-car Active.
Once In-car Active is installed on
your machine, to use it on subsequent occasions ensure the
DVD-ROM is in the drive and play the programme from your start
menu (PCs) or desktop (Macs). This will start the set-up process
then auto-detect that the programme is installed and skip
the set-up stages.
